We provide comprehensive site assessments that include light-path timing, accessibility for crew and vehicles, and high-resolution photo previews to help directors and DPs make informed decisions from afar

Film Permit Processing

Navigating the legal landscape of Ethiopian bureaucracy is a specialized task that we handle from start to finish. We facilitate all necessary paperwork through the Ethiopian Media Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to secure official filming permits and journalist visas. Our team is particularly skilled at obtaining specialized permissions for sensitive areas, including National Parks, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and drone flight clearances, ensuring that your production remains fully compliant with local laws throughout the shoot.

Customs Clearing (Equipment Import)

International production teams often face significant hurdles when bringing high-value cinema equipment into Ethiopia, as the country does not currently utilize the ATA Carnet system. To solve this, we manage the entire temporary importation process, coordinating with customs officials at Bole International Airport to ensure your gear is cleared swiftly and without the burden of heavy duties.

Casting & Talent Management

To help international crews reduce logistical costs and excess baggage fees, we offer a reliable inventory of production-ready gear through our network of local partners. Our rental services include high-end digital cinema cameras, professional lighting rigs, grip equipment, and field audio kits maintained to international standards. By sourcing equipment locally, you also gain access to technical support and replacement gear on short notice, providing a crucial safety net for productions filming in remote or challenging environments.

Full Production Management and Logistics

We provide a total organizational framework for your film project, acting as your primary "fixer" and production partner on the ground. Our services encompass the total coordination of local crew including translators and production assistants—alongside specialized 4x4 transportation and remote camp logistics for long-haul shoots.
